About Me

I'm a Specialist IT Technician in a Digital Transformation department, with 4 years of experience supporting users, managing tickets, and maintaining IT infrastructure. My day-to-day is Microsoft 365 administration — Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams and Exchange; plus Power Automate workflows, Azure, and support across Windows Server, Linux and macOS. I also handle office network setup end to end: FortiGate, Meraki and TP-Link devices, VPNs and site connectivity, access points, NAS and peripheral connectivity. Security runs through all of it, from applying policies and reviewing compliance baselines to hardening and incident response.

My path in IT began in Spain with engineering-focused studies in Information Technology and a HND in Web Application Development (Grado Superior), which I continued in the UK to complete over three years, finishing at Level 6 (bachelor's-degree level). My next goal is an MSc in Cybersecurity, across infrastructure and application security.

Beyond my IT technician role, I'm actively building web applications and expanding my development skills. I work with modern web technologies including Astro.js, Tailwind CSS, React, SQL and Python to create efficient, scalable solutions.

I'm collaborative, reliable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality support to end-users while continuously learning and applying new technologies. I'm ready to contribute my expertise to projects that combine my IT infrastructure knowledge with modern web development.

What I'm doing now

As of January 2025, here are a few things I'm focused on:

  • Working as an IT Support Technician, providing technical assistance and managing IT infrastructure across multiple platforms (OS X, Linux, Windows Server).
  • Managing and maintaining M365 and Azure environments, ensuring secure and efficient cloud operations.
  • Building web applications using Astro.js, Tailwind CSS, React, and SQL, combining my IT expertise with modern development practices.
  • Expanding my skills in networking and cybersecurity to better protect and optimize IT systems.
  • Integrating applications and hardware solutions to streamline workflows and improve user experience.
